This is one of the best curl products I’ve ever used! It defines my curls perfectly while keeping them soft and frizz-free. No crunch, no flakes—just smooth, shiny curls that last all day. The coconut scent is divine, and it’s super moisturizing. Great for curly or wavy hair!

The media could not be loaded. Don't know what happened but went to use this and it was semi-solid and unusable. Was more like super hard jello than anything I could put in my hair. I did try to put some in my hand and it crumbled into little pieces. I'm sure this jar is an outlier and have asked for a replacement. Finger-crossed it isn't like this one.UPDATE: Received second jar and it's the same. I went to Shea's website and discovered a number of customers writing in with the same problem. So Shea itself is aware they have a defective product on the market. Definitely wouldn't buy until someone at Shea can assure the problem has been fixed and bad product off shelves (though that may be difficult with Amazon sellers) The number for Shea Moisture Customer Service is 1-866-478-1925

It’s really good, my curls we’re curling when i used this product, it’s was a jelly like consistency when you open it but ones you mix it in your hands it turns to gel and it’s smells really good, if you like pineapple and coconut scented thing you’ll like this.

The first few times I tried this I ended up with very crunchy wet-looking hair that I could not scrunch the crunch out of. Sometimes I'd crunch the hell out of it just to find it had re-crunchified a while later. The fix, I discovered, is to apply it very sparingly, and to wet my hands before picking up a glob of it and rub them together with this product to wet it down before applying to hair, sparingly. Done right, it doesn't get crunchy and gives me ~5 days of reasonable hold.I have naturally porous 3B curls, I do curly girl per the r/curlyhair wiki, and I apply the following stack of products in order to clean and conditoned hair while still wet:1.) The product is very, very dense. It leaves an unpleasant amount of residue in the hair which results in poor texture.In order to get a soft texture, once it dries, I have to dilute the product 1:1 with water before applying.The smell is very nice.
