ACANII - For 1996-2002 BMW Z3 LED Halo Black Housing Projector Headlights Headlamps Assembly, Driver & Passenger Side

Installed on a 2000 Z3. Lights come with four plugs and 2 sets of red and black wires (for halo lights). 2 plugs for headlights, one plug for amber blinker and one plug (black and white wires) for???? I hard-wired the halo lights into the front bumper marker light. So halos come on when using tail lights. The blinker plug from the drivers side unit would not plug firmly into existing plug loom (had to use electrical tape to keep from falling out). The blinker plug from the passenger side unit worked as it should. No installation instructions, nor instructions how to adjust. However, they look great and were a no-brainer purchase since new headlights from BMW cost $700 a piece!

Overall this is a good product and an upgrade over stock. The light output for me was better than stock and they look great! I gave 4 stars because of the wiring/install. You can plug these right in and have working headlights but the halos won’t work without some wire splicing into your stock wiring. Also, there is a connector included that doesn’t connect to anything, not sure why it’s there. Good buy!

It shows that it’s not for a 96’ z3 this is untrue. We had installed and looks Fabulous! Our original 96’ lights were dull and dim. This was not only a beautiful upgrade it’s safety as well. We purchased the black.

These are “ok”. They are absolutely not OEM quality as some others have stated. They look nice but require some wiring modifications and the little daytime running light is cheesy. You have to essentially choose it or the halo lights. It also messes up the light pattern from the headlight. They fit nice but don’t really have any fine tuning adjustments like the OEM lights have. They also tell you on a sheet of paper that moisture inside the lens is considered “normal” and that they won’t return them if you complain about cloudy lenses due to moisture…which is a total load of nonsense. The factory lenses never fogged up ever…under any circumstances.

Put these in my 96 z3 BMW, fit perfectly, had to wire the halos and Drls depending on how/when you want them to operate. I hooked mine to the park lamp ckt. Probably should have hooked the DRLs to ign voltage. But this is fine.

These lights Look great, are very bright, much more than the original lights. They seem to be excellent quality maybe best than the original. I have just installed them so we will see how good they are. There is no connection for the fog lights so you have to do some modifying, (cutting wires and splicing). They do not provide any instructions. From a scale of 1 to 10 in difficulty its a solid 5 for the DIY guy. The modifications for the fog lights made it more difficult. I did get all the lights to work. If you're not interested in hooking up your fog lights then its a 3 in difficulty. Just plug and play, but you wouldn't know this because they don't supply any instructions. I would have given them a 5 star rating if they had provided minimal instructions and a connection for the fog lights. Over all Im very pleased with the lights and I feel they are worth the money.
