Perfect pumkin surface carving tools..
Every year we have to buy the cheap set of pumpkin carving tools and they dont last. I researched the internet and found that this is the same tools they sell buy of way better quality. I bought them and they done a great job on carving the pumpkins and where sharp and made it go by so much easier. I have arthritis in my hands and they worked so much better than the cheap carving kits they sell at Halloween. If you need need some good surface carving tools, then these are the ones for you and will last for many years...

but they are useful for the finer detail work
Despite the claims of others, the set I received was genuine Kemper. I've been using them over the past two days for pumpkin carving and they have performed well. I agree that they would be ineffective for cutting into tough pumpkin rind, but they are useful for the finer detail work. Use the larger ribbon tools, gouges or utility knives for cutting into or removing the rind.

Perfect size for small clay working
I haven't actually used these yet... but they look perfect for small sculpting in clay. Looking forward to using them. Quality looks fine, and if they aren't, I'll come back and update this later.

Price is high but worth it
Though the price is high for the tools (when are art supplies cheap mind you) they are worth the purchase. They work like a dream and cut through clay with out any resistance they leave clean lines and offer a variety of different options when it comes to sculpting.

NOT KEMPER
I have used Kemper Tools and they have sharp edges. These are as dull as can be and the shapes of some of the tools seem to be somewhat close to what they are supposed to look like. Very unhappy. Nowhere on the packaging does it say Kemper, nor on the tools. I use my tools for pumpkin carving as well as ceramic carving and I can see these won't cut through the pumpkin as I need them to! All in all I DON'T BELIEVE THESE TO BE KEMPER.

Meh. You get what you pay for
These were cheap in more ways than one. Used for sgraffito and after 3 projects the triangle came loose.

Tiny tools that work well for carving.
I love this set of tools. They are attractive, easy to carve with and clean. They are slightly shorter then other tools so they can be harder to find in a cylinder. They are textured for better grip.
