Larger than normal Slam balls, go lighter weight than other smaller slam balls!
Excellent quality slam ball but out is much much larger than I originally thought! But not a bad thing, just not a traditional sized slam ball. 12lbs is a heavy slam ball….. if you are planning to use a slam ball to pick up more throwing velo for baseball, or football, then I would suggest 8-10lbs. The overall larger size of this ball allows you to use a lighter weight than you’d expect and much better results since the ball takes up a larger distribution of space and trains smaller supporting muscles vs the smaller slam balls.

Very slippery to grip!
Great exercise ball. However you need tacky gloves to get a good grip on this ball. It is very slippery to grasp, unless you're bear-hugging it!

Started to rip and confetti everywhere just after a month or so. Pretty disappointed after this purchase.

Durable and worth the cost.
Had to buy a new ball because my old one burst. So durability was my number one criteria. Number two was grip. I’ve had the ball for over a month and it’s held up well to the abuse. It’s not quite as textured as I’d like for gripping, but I suppose that’s the price of using leather rather than a rubber ball—which is the one that burst after a couple months use.
