Yes it is made in China and nothing in their information tells you this. When the doll came it was printed in a very small font that it was Made in China. Very disappointed in Amazon. I bought these as gifts for my friends granddaughters and now have to return them.

Tags say (I have 2 at my house): "All new materials polyester fiber stuffing and polyuretane foam" or "All new materials Content: polyester fibers, polyurethane foam stiffener." As each baby granddaughter has come along, I have gotten them a Gund My First Dolly in either blond or brunette as they are and a matching one to keep at "Nana's house." I also considered these safe because the eyes are sewn, not buttons to pull off. The girls have loved them and so have I.
