Great Pool 14'
We bought the 14' pool. I have had no problem with the filter being adequate. Our water is clear. We did also purchase the intex salt water chlorine generator - that is how we are keeping our pool sanitized. We started out with water sourced from our city water company - not well water. I think that was a good starting point. We also pretty much always keep it covered with a solar water cover. Sometimes we have to take the cover off if it's a bunch of hot days in a row - the water got to almost hot tub level once! It was 96 degrees! But I do think keeping a cover on helps tremendously, whether it's solar or the one that came with the pool. We were expecting a ton of rain and storms, so we did put the cover that came with the pool on when that weather came through so that less rain water would get in the pool. Obviously keeping the pool covered keeps bugs and birds and leaves and things out of the pool. So that helps keep the pool clean and clear.I've enjoyed testing the water and then getting the right chemicals to make it right. I don't need for it to be perfect, but I think it has helped to keep the pool water clear. People who complain about the pump being inadequate - I think they are expecting the pump to do what regular pool maintenance should be doing. I vacuum the pool once a week - sometimes more if I want to. I just bought a small pool vacuum at Lowe's. And I use a leaf skimmer on a pole to skim off bugs and things off the top of the pool. I have to do that when I take the solar cover off because it's hard to take it off perfectly without getting some of the things on the top of the cover into the pool. I do hose the ladder and the outside of the pool off once a week, but that's because I read that can be helpful in preventing corrosion from having a salt water pool. It's been cool this week, and I've kept the ladder out since I last hosed it off since we probably won't be getting in again until the weekend. We went with buying this pool instead of doing a pool membership. So far it will pay for itself in 2 years. Has been so nice to get home, throw my suit on, and float outside for 30 minutes while the sun is still shining.I have doing some actual swimming in the pool also. It's just great. Was easy to put together with two people.Prep to make the ground even is a chore, but that is just what it is. We will probably take it down this year so we can improve some spots that are still uneven. We are a family of five, and this pool is a good starting size. Two or three adults/teenagers can float and my 11 year old can splash and dive around to her heart's content. My daughter had her 11th birthday party, and her friends spent hours in the pool! There were six girls and it was perfect.

Good quality pool!
Worked great! BE SURE TO LEVEL THE GROUND and take out ALL things that could grow underneath. Ended up growing and puncturing holes under the vinyl. Had to retire it unfortunately. Too hard to patch this big of a pool with the amount of dirt that got in it afterwards. Other than that it was a process to set up and was a good quality pool.

Sturdy and easy to put together.
Super easy to put up, it’s been nice and sturdy. We’ve only had it for one summer so far, but it’s been great with no concerns about its stability. The pump has actually been great , we’ve been using the pool balls instead of the sand in the filter and it’s been easy enough to clean. It’s definitely been a hit.

Not a bad kit but you’ll want to upgrade some things
Pool is great. Liner is complete junk. Think of the cheapest, thinnest tarp available and that’s it. You definitely want to order a different super thick liner. The cover is usable but not very good. It has little holes it so it really doesnt keep out any dirt or bugs. The ladder is basic. The pump is pretty good. Definitely better than the filter pumps.

Good quality pool
Pool was every thing I expected. The build quality is good the only thing I can say is the tarp that goes underneath the pool only last me one season use. Sand Filter is good quality, the thickness of the pool is pretty good. The size was more than perfect for a family of four. The setup up was easy.

Pump stopped working within first week
The pump stopped working within a week of use. When I try to get support on the matter I am sent to a "troubleshoot it yourself" page, which has nothing to do qith the pump. The pool itself is holding up very well so far.*Update* We have disassembled the filter pump. Inside the "rain proof GFCI" plug was water and corrosion of the circuit board. The water that entered the plug short circuited the board. There is a waterproof gasket on plug, apparently it isn't waterproof. We are currently replacing the plug to see if that fixes the problem.

Great pool!
I was nervous to upgrade our 12x30 Intex pool to the larger one because it seemed like it would be way more maintenance, but I have zero regrets! We went with the 16x48 and it was larger than I was expecting. We do have a smaller yard, so I think the size perception would vary depending on the yard size you're putting it in. I would've gone with the 14x42 but we wanted the extra depth that this one had.Assembly and setup of the actual pool was the easy part, the more time consuming part was leveling our ground which took a few days. We rented a sod remover, then leveled the ground using sand to fill in. Based on some youtube videos we watched, we used foam insulation board as a base instead of using the ground cover it came with. This of course added time and money to the setup, but in the end was well worth it. The floor of the pool now feels comfortable and smooth with no rocks or anything poking through, and I think it actually helps keep the water warmer too.Once the ground was all ready, the pool went up and filled up quite fast. We used two hoses to fill and it took about 8 hours to fill completely. Filter works great as long as you routinely backwash it as you're supposed to. Water maintenance is basically the same as our smaller pool, chlorine and baking soda and it's been crystal clear all summer. We finished the border of the pool with river rock and belgian blocks, added LED lights all around for nighttime ambiance. My only gripe about the set is the ladder it came with, which we will replace with a better one next summer. The ladder is fine for kids, but a bit terrifying for larger adults as it wobbles and is very steep climbing out of. The pool is very solid too, it would take a lot to tip it. Overall, we've enjoyed this pool all summer, and look forward to using it for summers to come!
