The media could not be loaded. The meter looks good with good fit and finish. Looking at reviews, this meter should not be accurate and should give inaccurate readings when jolted by rough terrain. This concerned me because it was going in my 4x side by side Kawasaki Teryx. OK, so I tested it on my bench and it looks pretty good for such a low cost meter. See video: It seems to be accurate while being jolted. The multimeter is showing the voltage of a backup battery I use for bench testing and the voltage pretty darn close if not exact. I banged the volt meter on the side of the multimeter and the multimeter hated it by showing a hundredth of a volt drop but the volt meter stayed true to speck. I will update this review after installation and rough terrain use.

I usually don't write such brutal reviews. And I usually don't take stock in one or two negative reviews. But this item has many. I bought this item twice. The first time, the needle moved erratically, then failed, never to move again. The second time, it couldn't read the same voltage twice. Reading voltage fairly well is kind of important for a voltmeter. Even an 'indicator' style as this. Total fail. Also, the shipping and packaging each time was poor. The meters may be better at the factory in China, but after being bashed around, they probably read poorly. Moving scale meters are somewhat delicate. Some common sense here would help.

Looks and performs like OE. Very responsive and smooth(sufficiently damped). Accurate; independently verified by external voltmeter.(Backlighting a bit too bright) Overall great value and quality
