Are these split and skinned?

They are small (3-4mm), roundish, and firm. I did not see any skin and they did not seem split. Excellent, mildly earthy taste Stay intact with correct cooking. Hope that helps.

Has anyone used these to make lentil burgers? If so, how is the firmness in comparison to brown lentils?

French Green lentils are much firmer than any other....they don't get as mushy as others I love them better than any other:-))
