What is the recommended ambient temperature range for applying this seam sealer?

I use it between 50 and 90. Near 90 it almost skins too fast. I smooth it out with mineral spirits on a finger.

It says it's paintable, but I have not tried to paint it.

Can I fill a vertical seam without it running? Is it thick enough to stay in place on a vertical panel?

Absolutely, vertical application can be applied. I did it.
