Doesn't matter which one you pick out, these are a absolute delight for anyone or any family etc. Definitely worth the money, comes safely to your house, has far as how it grows, germination and sprouting actually happen pretty quick pending on where you're at in the world. It's a fun first step before owning a bigger plant or a pet . Especially if you're teaching the little one's responsibility. The sturdiness of it is great to be honest, but sometimes it depends on how your apartment or home is too. So just be careful when finding it a permanent spot.

Great product, kids n adults can enjoy it. And for 4 years been still using it just put chia seeds. Its grows as always.

Bought this for our daughters 9th birthday. She loves unicorns and flowers/gardening so this was perfect! You Must keep it filled with water Daily for the best outcome! It lasted a full 3 months before I tore it away from the unicorn, but that's because the weather got colder and I didn't water it for 3 days as it sat in the windowsill so it started to brown and die off at that time. What we did as far as stopping the seeds from sliding down and growing on the legs was that during the drying process after applying the seeds, every 20-30 minutes we would use a toothpick and slide any seeds back up onto the torso. We had a nice full body covered in seeds and the legs were safe from any growth! Can't wait until the spring to grow again! Tip though- only use half of the seeds it says to use for the first growth, as we had half of the first batch of seeds that we ended up tossing outside on a rock to see if they'd grow there (no they didn't) since there was that much left over.

I bought this unicorn Chia pet for my granddaughter's fourth birthday. She waters it every morning. She is so happy to show everybody when they come to the house. It gives her a little responsibility of taking care of something. She had plants in the backyard but the deers decided to help themselves. So this is a fun way for her to grow plants. I can't wait to buy her a different one

I received this as a gift for my birthday. I have followed the simple instructions and "Mia" the chia continues to please. The only thing I don't love about the chia pet is it needs to sit in tray because it is intentionally porous so the water from inside can reach the seeds for growth. Daily dumping of the tray and refilling of the unicorn are important. I really like my first Chia pet.

Did not like that item came only in its original box with a label stuck on it. As this is a fragile item, should have been packed in a cardboard box with some type of packing. fortunately, item does not appear damaged.

I've killed so many plants it's not even funny. But this? This I can do. Just follow the instructions, put the pet on a warm sill (in my case, with a grow light), and watch the little seeds sprout in a couple of days. I've sprouted the seeds a couple of times, and they've lasted much longer than any of the other poor unfortunate herbs I've bought in my life.
