Are these machine washable?

Yes but most of my hiking friends and I put them in a smaller laundry sack just to protect them. And I hang them to dry.

I wear a size 9 hiking boot. On amazon it does not give an option for the size. I would like to purchase but nowhere to put the size you want

Probably, but be warned that the adjustment for this gator is on the outside of the foot, making it much harder to fit than if it was on the inside of the foot!

Not as useful as i hoped

Sorry, triwonder, but these gaiters weren’t as good as I hoped. They are quite short and slipped down frequently, thereby reducing their effectiveness. There was also a lot of the Velcro lead left flying about once I had put them on. I’ve decided to go for something more substantial.

Not recommended for extreme mud!

My daughter used these in a hike when it was extremely muddy and they weren't the best. However they would make very good summer gaiters
