Ironic but true - these deserve 5 stars but I am returning them. They are great but too strong for my application.

I used these to install a couple of porch swings. I purchased these as the local Hardware store only had one in stock and I needed 4. They arrived quickly and were really easy to install. The weight limit is 300 pounds PER SPRING, so 600 lbs for 2 of them. They barely compress when one person sits on swing and may compress down 1/2 of an inch with two people on the swing. I am impressed with the strength and would purchase again if needed.

These are beefy springs you will need some kind of adaptor as they are closed loop and it's a bit difficult to disassemble. I used these for our sail shade install and they worked out great.

These just arrived and our swings are not here yet, so I can't tell you how well they perform. They look impressive, but are not the same as the picture. The picture shows 13 coils, what arrived had 10 coils. We also bought some slightly more expensive ones that showed the 13 coils and what shipped actually had 13 coils of about the same gage material as these. Am hoping they will be as strong as they claim.

These seem to be good, strong springs. I have a very large, active dog that goes out into my yard on a cable that slides along an overhead trolley line bolted to my brick house and to a nearby tree. Most of the time, he wanders around the area calmly. But every once in a while, he sees a squirrel and tugs a bit harder than he should. These large springs at each end of the trolley line add a little extra "give" keeping him safe and the line attached.They seem like they would be good for any applications where a strong springs are needed.

I used these on a new four foot porch swing. They were very easy to install and does take the jolt from first sitting on the swing. They are very well made and do exactly as advertised.

Exactly what we needed! This is very study. We have a hangout pod in our kids room for a reading space. Three kids were bouncing around inside of it hanging on one of these springs and it was hardly phased. We also purchased a double ended swivel eye so when the kids spin the pod they don’t put any pressure on the spring. Love it. The pod feels so much safer now!
