This bag is just what I needed for climbing, the chalk that is comes with is nice. The phone pocket fits my iPhone 6 in a pretty bulky case very well, plus the little pocket in front is perfect for my wedding ring so it doesn't get scratched up while I climb. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase.

I bought this for a treat bag for training dogs... can't comment on how well it holds chalk, LOL! It does however put up with tons of wear and use and doesn't retain a dog or dog food smell. I've been hiking with it, dogs have bit onto it, and there's been a plethora of disgusting substances (dog slobber is one of them) that have been bestowed upon this little pouch. But it's held up extremely well. Very pleased.

I bought this because I wanted a bag that could hold my phone and money while indoor rock climbing. The side pocket has plenty of room for most phone and the pocket on the front held my cash. Perfect for what I needed it for!

It holds a decent amount of chalk, but has a few flaws.The pocket on it is so small that I'm not sure why it's even there in the first place. I usually aorrr a few dollar bills in it since my gym has $1 shoe rentals, but a credit card wouldn't even fit it. Maybe the designers through every climber needs 3 sticks of gum with them at all times?The drawstring didn't close all the way for a good amount of time, resulting in all a cloud of chalk exploding from the top every time I set it down. It closes 95% of the way now, but it's still annoying that I have to set it down gently and can't just toss it onto the bench.

The rivet around the draw string has fallen off.

I like my new chalk bag. It the perfect size and gets the job done.The clinch strap works extremely well. No chalk ever slips out when I have it closed tight.The reason I gave it 4 and not 5 starts was the strap. It was too short to fit around my waist. I'm not a very large person. I'm 5'9 and 180lbs. It's not really a huge problem though. I just attached it to a gear loop on my harness.Thanks for reading my review.

Nice bag for loose or bagged chalk. Drawstring seems to maintain closure as well as hold up to multiple uses. Phone pocket is quite convenient when climbing at an indoor facility to keep id, money and keys.

Chalk leaks from the top. Not sure why you would make a chalk bag that won't actually hold chalk.
