I love the ball and it makes great images, it’s quite heavy though and unless you’ve got big hands not easy to use ‘hand held’ and take the photo at same time. I either position or get friend to hold. Really great ball to get ‘more’ in the shot. Doesn’t come with a stand which it really could do with but you can but separately (I’d advise doing). The carry case is really useful.Watch out for the sun, it sends a powerful heat ray which doesn’t half burn when it gets ya !!

Bought a much cheaper one before this, and to be fair that one could be used for photography perfectly although it had several flaws on its surface, as in the pictures you don't really notice those. Still I returned that one and bought this one instead simply for the satisfaction of possessing a perfectly clear, flawless crystal ball - nothing beats that!

Love the fact that this comes in a padded case and is absolutely crystal clear. I can see this lasting much longer than any acrylic versions, just as you’d expect from a company with the heritage of Rollei!

My wife is the photography nut in our house and whilst I do my bit as a shared hobby, she is the better and more dedicated of us. So the enclosed is her words, not mine as she has used this lens ball quite a bit.I love faffing in photography and if you also love faffing, you need to get a lens ball. But and it's a big but, get a quality one.Initially I cheaped out and bought myself a very cost effective one from a well know auction site and as soon as I got it out of it's cardboard box I knew it was a mistake. Not only were there a few scratches (which are clearly noticeable once photographed) it was also distorted and so the images were also distorted. There is no point in trying to create a beautiful image to then have imperfections ruining it.The Rollie lens ball is perfect in every way! It comes in a lovely gift box - so ideal if this is a present for someone - and has it's own substantial carry case with zip around closure and carabiner to hang from a camera bag. The ball is actually quite heavy, so I prefer to keep it within my camera bag. There is also a soft cloth which can be stored in the top of the case to keep the lens fingerprint and smear free.Overall this is a perfect example of getting what you paid for and highly recommended.

Great warehouse deal, perfect without any flaws... Got both the 110mm and 90mm for less than normal price of the 90mm.Bag which holds it is acceptable and with cleaning cloth to keep it perfect for pictures!Got a kiwifotos lens ball suction stand to work with it. Chose that over the smaller based version as a stable support was preferable. Holds it good enough.
