I'll give the quick pro's/con's and then a detailed description.Pro's- Great "oil tan" color Nice look for a messenger bag Good quality overall, leather wears well Great for outings if you're an artist and want to carry your materialsCon's- Slightly feminine, not too bad, can be balanced out Size of bag was smaller than expectedOrdered this bag and received another, contacted seller and the issue was resolved quickly with the bag I ordered and a return label for the miss pick. Now to the bag, it's made of sturdy leather that seems to wear nicely so far and the color of the "oil tan" is a bit darker than pictured but works well. The lining on the inside is a bit feminine as is has "VISCONTI" written at an angular pattern with the knighted figure next to it, but it blends it well and you never see it from the outside. Though there is an adjustment clasp on the strap that is a shiny gold color with "VISCONTI" on it which is worn over your chest and does seem excessive so balance that out with your outfit. The clasps are magnetic and hold down well for the front pockets, the zippers are well made quality and the stitching doesn't seem likely to fray any time soon. When you're looking at it from the front and have it open there is the main pit for all your things, a small zipped compartment behind that where a cellphone might fit snugly, an open portion behind that a few inches deep where pens might go, same on the other side of the divider, and finally a deeper portion behind that where a tablet or notebook might fit. Now it's small and tight, don't let the picture fool you. I'm a college student and I can only fit one textbook with a notebook in the main pocket, and a moleskin notebook in the back pocket, perhaps squeeze my 7 inch tablet in there as well. A tape recorder fits perfectly in the smallest front compartment, for those writers as well.

I bought this bag to use as a purse because I am not very girly and I like to be organized. This bag works extremely well for that as well as for international travel. There are a lot of pockets:Front Phone Pocket - an iPhone 4s sort of fits, but it's too difficult to get it out so I usually clip pens to the open part and keep chapstick under the flapFront Flap Pocket - Small, but accessableFront Flat Pocket - The full width of the bag, good for wallet or phone if you want to reach them easilyFront Zipper Pocket - The full height of the bag, but thinMain Compartment - Large, and it has a small zipper pocket at the top that is just slightly larger than a horizontal passport. An iPad fits in this pocket easily, but due the zipper pocket pushing it forward a bit, I don't find it to be the best location for itBack Inside Pocket - There is another pocket inside the flap that is the full size of the main compartment. This pocket is perfectly sized for an iPad that is naked or in a slim caseBack Inside Inside Pocket - Inside the back inside pocket there is another little open pocket that also is perfectly sized for a passportBack Outside Zipper Pocket - This is a very thin pocket that I don't use much because normally it is less convenient to reach and having the iPad in the Back Inner Pocket means there isn't much space in it. It works great for sticking boarding passesThe only two complaints that I have about this bag are that the rubber of the shoulder pad started breaking off around the stitching within 2 months of getting the bag (I attached to images to the product to show what I mean), and that I wish it had two flap pockets on the front instead of the cell phone pocket that is kind of the wrong size. The leather, stitching, and zippers are all very high quality and I have received numerous compliments on this bag.

Getting a bag to carry stuff around in as a guy is tricky. You want to avoid purse look-alikes, but you don't want to look like you're avoiding purse look-alikes. You gotta fly casual.I needed something to carry around my myriad of electronic devices (Tablet, Kindle, Smartphone), notebooks, papers, etc. when going on business appointments and I didn't want to carry a briefcase. I checked out a few messenger bags and, after a misfire with a Kenneth Cole bag, found this one.PROS- Real leather, easily distinguished by touch and smell- Lots of pockets to hold devices- Well made and seems durable- Unique and very cool appearanceCONS- Many laptops would be a tight fit, and either wouldnt fit at all, or the bag wouldn't close. Netbooks would be fine. Tablets are fine.- Front outboard pockets aren't big enough to hold modern smart phones. Not a big deal to me, because there are plenty of other pockets.NOTE- The color you receive is going to be darker than it appears in the photo. I've attached my own photo so you can see the difference. I have found this is normal with leather products on the internet and I ordered the Oil Tan color, expecting it to be darker, which it is.This bag is great. Its real cowhide leather, not bonded, and not cheap. It is rugged and has a study feel. I get the impression I can USE this bag. It will stand up on its own, so papers won't get mangled inside.All-around I really like this thing. It has a bit of Indiana Jones about it.

When I removed the item from the box it arrived in, I was immediately impressed by the stitch work and quality of leather.The colour of the leather is perfect and becomes even more attractive after it takes a little bit of a beating.Throw this thing around everywhere with no issues whatsoever.Fits a 13" mac air in the main pocket long-wise.Highly recommended.

I was extremely impressed when I unpacked this bag. The leather and workmanship are very high quality. There are lots of pockets to organize and the hardware is of equally high quality. This bag will last for many, many years!

Quality good looking leather, and large enough for a (small) notebook, Bluetooth speaker and assorted other bits. It dioesn't look big, but holds a lot of stuff.

The bag arrived ahead of schedule which is a bonus. It will be easy to keep organized. The attention to details was spot on. And it came with a storage bag to protect it when it's not in use.

Very stiff leather and the magnetic closure is very weak. It has many compartments so it is easy to organize. Good bag but not worth the high price tag.
