Complete waste of money!
I bought these hoping they would be a good replacement for my usual Impress-o tags which were out of stock. They are super thin and flimsy compared to Impress-o so they are going back. They are cute little tags but I can’t even think of another use for them, unfortunately.UPDATE: I decided to keep these tags because I was desperate due to Impresso tags being sold out everywhere and I had a lot of orchids to pot and tag. Huge mistake! After one week outside, the tags just fell part. Definitely not good for plants that will get watered! Now I begin the task of searching my shadehouse for all of these tags so that I can replace them before the plant name is lost for good. 😡 very unhappy that I wasted money on this junk.

Don't buy - these will NOT last more than a few months!!!
*Update* Sadly, these totally failed after just 3 months! Watering plants and rain during summer caused these tags to completely come apart and are almost unreadable! I now need to redo all the tags throughout my large property and the entire point of these was to not have to do this 1-2x/year like I normally did with the white plastic tags & permanent marker. Not happy! Going with a tag that is fully metal.‐---‐-----Original review - Not bad, easy to write on, but once placed outside the interior cardboard softens and the aluminum covering can tear and rub off. Don't think these will last. Prefer thin aluminum tags w/out cardboard in the center.

Not for outdoor use!!!!
So disappointed... The aluminum is sandwiched over card stock so as soon as the rain hit the tags, they disintegrated to the point that the “writing” on the aluminum side was nearly invisible. So if you buy these tags, use them indoors and do not allow them to get wet. The whole purpose of aluminum tags is so they can withstand the rain and also not rust. : /

Cheaply made with paper core
Having used a similar product years ago I was excited to find these for a decent price. Upon receiving the pack contained only half the stated amount. Amazon refunded me. I used a few of them and they aren’t solid or layered aluminum but constructed as followed: aluminum/paper/aluminum. They separated and are of very poor quality. The previous ones I’ve used are on apple trees that were grafted in 2012 and have been outside exposed since then and are in perfect shape.

These fall apart
These fall apart as soon as they get wet . Definitely not for outdoor plant labelling use !!!

Can't survive exposure to water
I'm updating my review after having used these tags for a year or so. They were useless after being exposed to rain and overhead watering. These may be useful indoors or in a greenhouse, but NOT for outdoor use.

Product name implies tag is all-aluminum
I hurried my purchase thinking i was getting aluminum tags as suggested by the name. Read the description AFTER receipt and they are actually card stock with a thin aluminum veneer. Will not hold up in wet conditions.

These can be damaged by moisture .
I use them with a ball point pen which embosses the card so it can always be read. I use them for labeling engine parts during disassembly so you can still read them with greasy fingerprints all over them.
