Clement Faugier Gourmet Chestnut Spread From France Vanilla 17.5 oz

Creamy and sweet but not overwhelming. Can doesn't always around intact but the content is ok. The price has gone up tremendously so I don't but it as often but definitely worth a splurge every once in a while. You can use it in the making of desserts although I use it as a part of a fruit salad.I serve it i small bowls. Put about a heaping tablespoon of chestnut cream, fruit salad on top and a dollopof whipped cream over the fruit salad. Delish!

The best chestnut spread. Very smooth. Delicious perfect balanced ingredients. Excellent quality great value for the money.I will keep buying it

DO NOT BUY THIS!The can arrived cracked open and content spilled into the box forming a pile of disgusting white moldy stuff.UNSAFE to touch. YUK! And it's NOT RETURNABLE and NOT REFUNDABLE. it's throwing money away!

I found this product from a David Lebovitz blog. Apparently as he states, French women keep this in their handbag with a little spoon and eat it from the can as they go about their day. If you love Nutella, this tops it over the top! You can put in on everything and on everything. Plain yogurt never tasted better! On pancakes, in toast, fruit salad, you name it besides just a taste from the can. The shipping is pricy but it is worth every penny, sweetness in a can.....

Saw someone using this stuff in a recipe on YouTube, and wanted to try it. The product tastes good, but is a little too sweet on its own. I like sweets, and usually I have a pretty high tolerance for sweetness, but this stuff made me near-instantly regret eating a spoonful of it. That is how strong this stuff is.But like i said, it's a good tasting chestnut spread.Now the package... Why a pulltab can with no way to reseal the container? keep in mind that you're either gonna have to use it all at one time, or find a container to put it in for later. I just don't get why manufacturers do this sort of thing; a resealable container seems like an obvious thing to implement in your product.

I have a friend who makes a chestnut cake so I gave her a can. She swears by it, was pleased when I told her the price. Now this is all she uses. I transfer it to a jar as I spread it on toast. Delish.

Back in France, I used to eat this from a tube but I must say it was just as good from the can. I used a spoon and loved this chestnut stuff. You can put it on toasts as you would jam.
