Great cooking and best value in a counter top cooker. Then after 2 years it died. While cooking some chicken it shut down. Only the power button was lit, but would not turn on. After unplugging and plugging back in, the problem persisted.Not such a good value after all. It should last more than 2 years.

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this air fryer as a Mother's Day gift for my Mom. She'd been using one of the smaller air fryers with the pull out basket for making things like chicken wings and reheating french fries, but had complained that the coating on the bottom of the basket had started to come off, and she was not a fan of that.With her critique in mind I searched for an air fryer with non-coated metal racks and happened upon this unit. Mom was so surprised and shocked and HAPPY that she went right out and bought a $42, 4lb boneless rib-eye roast (see pages 8-9 of the recipe booklet) to use as the first test. Yikes!But not to worry. Mom purchased all the ingredients listed and followed the instructions in the booklet. As you can see in the pictures the roast came out PERFECTLY! I was amazed at how flavorful and tender and juicy the roast was and how little time it took to cook. The seasoning was perfect and created an indescribably tasty crust and the meat itself practically melted in your mouth.I highly recommend this unit to any one thinking of purchasing an air fryer. Believe the hype. I can't speak for all air fryers but this one works spectacularly and the clean up is incredibly easy. I wouldn't have believed that an air fryer could cook a roast to perfection unless I'd seen it with my own eyes. Seeing and tasting is believing!

When I’m in the market for something I am not familiar with I always go based off of customer reviews. This appliance was competitively priced and had 4/5 stars so, based on that, it was an easy choice.It works well, it’s not too loud. From what I can tell there is no way to tell the current temperature, only the set temperature. Make sure nothing is around it because this thing really radiates heat. It looks sharp and my girlfriend and I were super excited for it to arrive.Here’s why I rated it 2/5 stars:The 3 wire racks that it comes with, they are not wide enough for the racks they sit on in the oven. 2 of 3 that came will not sit in the rails. They simply just fall to the bottom. The third (shown in the picture) is too narrow in the back so it sits as shown. On the back of the inside of the oven there is an additional rail for each tier, but the wire racks slide right off of it, even with the door shut. The wire racks are the most frequently used utility of the appliance so it really limits what you can make since they don’t fit.Update:For those who don’t know, the glass window in the door is removable for easy cleaning.The handle attached to the window broke off today. I have owned this product for 24 hours...At first I thought it was plastic that snapped but after a closer inspection found it was glue.The glue seal broke and now the handle will not connect to the window.This is why I changed my rating from 2/5 to 1/5. This machine is garbage and for the price I would expect much better.

Air Fryer update: After first night, thought I would send out a review of a few foods I cooked following the instructed times and temp.1. Drumsticks -turned out amazing, was awesome to see the fat dripping off into the tray. Put on some sugar free bbq sauce and they retained a lot of moisture that you normally lose in the oven of grill!2. Salmon fillets - They turned out nice. Half way through I poured lemon juice on them and flipped them. At the end, a little dry. Next time they will go in with a minute less cooking time.3. Freshwater fish caught in Lake Murray several years ago and packed in a deep freezer: very dry on the suggested temp and time, but remember, these were not fresh.4. Dehydrated banana chips: I wanted a lower sugar fruit chip to try. I did not prepare these correctly looking back at the recipe, also the bananas were almost bad. These did not turn out well. So I think it was operator error more than the machines fault.All in all I am super happy about this purchase! It is a large 8-1 so we will be preparing a lot of food in this air fryer. $99 for a large air fryer that does more than that is a good price from everything I have seen on the internet. After sometime of using this air fryer, it start to give me issues with the door. There is a safety switch that prevent the machine to work with the door open. So after closing the door the machine didn't start and I notice a wear mark close to one of the pins of the switch and in order to make the machine functional I had to put a piece of aluminum foil to make the switch lock properly. After sometime using it the touch screen also stop working. Now Im sending the machine straight to the thrash can. I didn't use it enough.

Bought this air fryer last year exactly and my family and i absoloutely love it. Easy to use, easy to clean and cook about anything with little to almost nothing of oil. Recently the light just started flashing just for turning it on. Heat starts decreasing out of no where I dont even know why, I try to raise it and it just doesnt let me.
