Use these attached to my grip belt for film sets. I attach all my grip tape to these so I can QD any color of tape and hand it off to someone as they are inedibly going to ask to borrow some tape.

Worked great, except it's a bit too long

The nylon attachment better in the pocket...
The nylon fabric lies flat in the pocket compared to a metal quick connect. Easier on the pocket. The buckles are a more sure "no brainer" attachment. You can see when it's locked in place.

I bought the maxpedition version of these and I like these waaaaay better. They're not so bulky and more manageable if that makes sense and also more affordable while still being very well built in every way!
