It started with a sale I noticed on Amazon, a reduced price on a 6-pack of toasted seaweed snack packages from Gimme. They were touted as nutritious, lots of Vitamin B12 and looked more healthy than traditional chip snacks so I added them to my subscription delivery.About 5 minutes after they arrived and I'd tried one or maybe 3 or 4 because I can't remember how many thanks to the euphoria of discovering toasted seaweed, I was bemoaning the fact that I hadn't ordered a few dozen more. I logged back in and found I could buy them in these here 20-packs. I had learned from my mistake so I signed up for five 20 packs in a variety of flavors. Waiting for delivery proved impossible but luckily my nearby Asian market carried a stop-gap seaweed fix so I stop-gap stocked up. The price was nearly the same as on Amazon.I have now tried this brand, Gimme, in Chili Lime, EVOO, Sea Salt, Sea Salt and Avocado Oil, Teriyaki, and Wasabi. Every single one of them is great. Teriyaki is slightly sweet but not cloying, Wasabi has medium heat level spiciness, Chili Lime is mild and I couldn't detect much taste of lime. My favorites turned out to be the 3 simplest ones: EVOO, Sea Salt, and Sea Salt with Avocado Oil. For me, the natural seaweed flavor just doesn't need much embellishment.I try to hold myself to a daily consumption of no more than 2 packs so I don't turn my arteries to granite from the salt intake but it's a struggle and I must fail a lot because I usually order three 20 packs per month and they rarely last 3 weeks. I drink a lot of water and usually nothing but water so fingers crossed and hoping I can find the strength to control myself but this month I ordered seven 20-packs because there was another ***SALE!!!***. Get thee behind me, Demon Seaweed, and please stop being so delicious.Notes: The smell and taste are slightly fishy but not repulsive. The sheets are quite thin but I like that. They're a bit salty, drink lots of water.

This review is for the pack of "Sea Salt" seaweed.Ingredients: Seaweed, Canola Oil, Sesame Oil, Salt, Green Tea Powder, Herb Tea ExtractExactly as expected. Smells as it should, has taste and texture as it should. Light, crisp, airy. If you havent had it before, it looks like big pieces of seaweed, but once you stuff it in your mouth, it dissolves down to just a tiny amount. Kind of reminds me of cotton candy in that way. But that is as far as comparisons go, lol. I have been noshing on seaweed of this style on and off for a couple of decades. I like it best for use in dishes, like miso and for quick musubi/onigri/sushi using my Mold Set . Click that link to see what I mean. Works perfectly. Could be ground up and sprinkled on eggs, noodles, or garbanzo bean based "tuna" salad. I may try the wasabi next, but for most part a simple salt flavor or no flavor is fine for me.

Seaweed is very good for us to consume, and I must say these were very tasty. If you’re not accustomed to oil, you might be a little surprised that these have a little more oil than what you would expect. This was not a bad thing, though, they were very tasty. I would just suggest that you do not take them when you’re on the go for example at work or as a snack at the beach, etc., because you will need to brush your teeth right Afterwards. Yes, those little pieces of seaweed will get caught in your teeth. Just like just about anything well, but this is so extremely visible that you might look a little silly once speaking with someone.

I was so happy to find a value pack of this seaweed. I have one son who loves this flavor, and another who loves the sea salt, and we subscribe & save to both. It's the cheapest I've found per pack for this product. Size is great for lunch boxes, ingredients are clean and they taste delicious. Recommend!

Honest truth is that this item comes from whatever they remove from the stores before they expire, I have bought it several times from Amazon, I am even subscribed and every other expires in exactly 2 mos from purchase date whereas the ones bought from the supermarket have 10+ months to expire.Now, lets talk about freshness, these are not fresh; the flavor is stale and the crispiness almost gone. These are not crunchy, some would have crunchiness to it, others will feel like chewing paper.Its perfect for me because Chilli Lime and Korean BBQ are almost impossible to eat when I buy them from the supermarket since the spiciness level is at top (as they are fresh) but when I eat these from Amazon its barely spicy so thats perfect for me.If you want to be able to tell the difference, buy one from the supermarket and compare them both, you can find them in the international aisle.Price is amazing, even though freshness is compromised you can still enjoy these very much.Another thing to consider, if you cant control yourself this aint for you, the suggested serving is 1 pack per day due to iodine levels, this entire pack last 4 days in my house, I eat 4 to 5 packs per day, which is about 20g

My kids like these, and we usually buy them at our local grocery store in 6 packs. When I saw that I can buy these in a bulk package, it was a win for my kids. We normally go through them in about 2 weeks. My kids will eat them with rice as a snack. Why did you pick this product vs others?:bigger packageSize:5 kids, it last longer for the price.
