THbrother Wing Corkscrew Wine Opener - All-in-one Red Wine Corkscrew and Bottle Opener

Was disapointed as it was rather loose which didn't inspire confidence. Attempted to open a bottle of wine but it wouldn't budge for me. Luckily my son in law who is much stronger than me was able eventually to remove the cork. I had this type of corkscrew many years ago which I used regularly and by comparison the earlier one felt much stronger.

Good classic design function with centre point solid screw feature I was looking for (rather than wire spiral) but casting was thin with sharp edges and flimsy with stiffness and unevenness in operation. I didn't trust it would last long levering off bottle tops so returned the item. Chinese manufacture can be good value if quality is good but £5.99 is expensive compared to supermarket examples of better quality and (but only wire spiral found locally so far). All the supermarket examples had much better feel quality, heavier and thicker when held in the hand, which is one instantly obvious aspect that lets this example down.

Used once or twice a week for ten months and then … snapped in two! It has a 'lifetime guarantee' apparently, but at this price I don't think I can be bothered.

I like this as it is easy to use, is a bright red colour so I can find it in my cutlery drawer and I much prefer the old fashioned type cork screws to the new fangled ones!

This corkscrew does the job, but I am not sure how long it will last as the metal is quite thin and seems a little flimsy. Hopefully I am wrong in these assumptions.

The only thing good about this is that it looks the part!! However, when it is used it just rips the cork apart and does not lever the cork out of the bottle. It is TOTALLY USELESS! Whoever designed this should be sacked. I sent mine back and bought a really good one from Sainsburys. Do NOT buy this!

Only just purchased so no idea wrt durability but looks and feels well made and the colour makes it easy to find in the drawer!
