Steve Madden Men's Antonn Combat Boot

First off, I do like these boots.Pros:Look goodNice leather, good constructionCons:A little on the big sideColor of the upper has a slight green to it in some lighting, and the sole has a reddish brown. Wish it was more the same color.They are kind of uncomfortable as is. There is almost no cushioning, and the shape for the foot isn't the best, but that is fairly subjective.My boots are inconsistent in build. The left boot is normal, but the right ones tongue flap is pretty off centered and the upper is slightly longer than on the left boot.So, although I have complaints, I like the boots, but I personally can't deal with the thin nearly cushion-less inserts that come with the boots and am trying to find one to swap with permemantly. Then, the boots will be comfortable once I wear them in.

Confortable and good-looking. Heeded the advice of other reviews and ordered a half-size smaller (I have wide-feet, but the boots are extremely wide) If I had one quibble, it's that the boots I received looked very different in color from the pics seen. Whereas the boots seen in the pics are a dark brown, mine were almost a faded grayish-brown in hue. Also, the feel of my boots was rough-hewn to touch, almost as if they'd been intentionally-weathered, and not at all smooth and shiny as some other reviewers have have complained about. Which is fine, because I wanted a pair of boots I could automatically use w/out too much fuss. And, they pair nicely w/ my dark-wash jeans. However, you'll need to play w/ a bit as they're really tight when you first try to slip them on for the first time

Ok here we go. I was looking online for boots and saw these they looked good and with a side zipper that would make life easier for a 69 year old guy. It does. The leather is soft that is nice. Not insulated take that into to mind. I did find that here in snowy Boston 19 degrees it was quite comfortable. I am very happy overall with this boot. I like the fact that with my wide feet this boot was a bit bigger perhaps 1/2 larger than most 9 sized boots. I would give it a 5 star but they feel like carrying a bit more luggage on a trip. For the $$ this is a nice deal. I may even get a pair of Brown ones in a bit.

I work in Food and Bev Management, so I'm always on my feet and moving. I also live in Upstate New York, so, I needed something that would look professional, be comfortable, and wouldn't put me on the ground during the winter months. It has done all of the above. My only gripe is that I've had these for about 4 weeks now, and there's already a small hole on my left foot by my pinky. My toe isn't breaking through, its just the top canvas part, not the under layer. Other than that, a pretty good buy.

I'm happy with this purchase. They are decent shoes for the price. The zipper seems a little cheap but has held up for the past few weeks without a problem. It just catches every now and then. The color and design were accurate. The soles were a bit more cheap looking. The tread design continues off the edge of the shoe and creates an edge that isn't very finished but it isn't noticeable. Compared to the very expensive shoes that are similar, I feel like the compromises were acceptable. I would buy these again

When I say they're somewhat large, I mean they're roomy. I have wider than average feet and these fit like a dream. Snug where they needed to be and roomy everywhere else. They show wear and tear very easily, though that creates a rugged look. All in all, a good buy at a good price.

I saw these in the Steve Madden store and really liked them, but they didn't have them in my size, so I ordered them here. They do not look like what is on display at the store. These boots are suppose to have a rugged, vintage look with distressed leather. They're suppose to be casual. The boots I received were so shiny, they look like dress shoes that had just been polished by some guy at the airport. These boots are ok if you don't compare them to the store version and enjoy seeing your reflection in your footwear. Otherwise, really disappointing.

Nice design. Nice fit. The material is somewhat cheap- the material of the left shoe is slightly different than the right shoe, noticeable especially at the toe --it drives me a bit crazy but, I like the shoes anyways. Don't think I would recommend them however.

If you are looking for lean,shiny glossy footware den don go for this...this boot is rough n robust worn out look (boots has to be like dat only ).Really nice . only concern is colour coz product colour is nt as dark as shown in pic also boots r much- much more non glossy n worn out rough dan in pic. (misleading pic )Don know if d product is bit old; has 2 check at st-mad outlet.

Best boots...... One should definitely go for this one..... The only reason m giving it a 4 star is not sure of it being totally new....... Bt anyways i loved it
