Thinner weave than older surgical towels but that makes them softer and more absorbent. Won't last as long but work well as dish towels. Do shrink when washed.

I used to work at a hospital. We were able to take home unused surgical towels that are perfect for anything in the house or garage. These are the exact towels and are replacements for ones that have worn out after years and years of use.

I've bought similar cloths from Amazon before, but nothing so flimsy as these. About the only honest part of the description the vendor has is that they are cotton and blue. I tried to clean our kitchen counters using these. I would have only needed 1 of my old towels, but these are not very absorbent and I ended up needing 2. In addition, they left behind a blue lint everywhere. I decided to wash the whole set to take care of the lint, and 3 came out of the washer falling apart. I dried them on low and they balled up. I'm not about to iron them just to have usable rags. I would have been better off cutting up old t-shirts or towels instead of buying these. My old set lasted 5 years, but they are no longer available. Anyhow, save yourself some money and look elsewhere if you want something durable, absorbent and reusable.

I bought these rags to clean windows. They have turned out to be much better than expected and much better than others sold on Amazon. The cost is double than the others but the quality is as well. I guess you get what you pay for.

I have a cleaning company and have used Husk towels for 15 years. I have always purchased them from window cleaning suppliers. I thought I would try these. So disappointed. They have caused so much lint problems. Contaminating my other rags with lint. So difficult to clean glass and windows

Right out of the box, these were somewhat disappointing. They were not very absorbent and were somewhat stiff and coarse and did not absorb the cleaning agent I was using at the time. Not wanting to ruin any of them, I then washed them and they changed to being softer and more absorbent. I had finished my project by then and will have to wait till I test them again. I do expect them to hold the cleaning agent better so I will be able to clean the surface I need to much better. After washing, the are smaller in size and quite wrinkled, which may or may not be a big deal. Will wait to see. May purchase more of them as the price was certainly good.

Love these towels. I stopped using paper towels about 3 years ago and bought a bunch of these towels to use in their place. Let me tell you it’s the best thing I’ve done. I use them like I would paper all over my house. Dusting, cleaning counters, wiping faucets, shining mirrors, cleaning windows. I have a particular set that I only use for cleaning the bathrooms. I wash them in the washer with hot water and they’re clean. I dry them in the dryer but I do not use fabric softeners. So good for the environment!!!
