They are def waterproof
The media could not be loaded. I initially got these lights to put them outside as Xmas lights. They worked as they should even kept outside on the rain a few days. They are super bright . They dont use a lot of power but the only thing was they were a bit short. Still i like them.

Not 24V
Package has an original label that says 12V, with another sticker over it that says 24V. Plugging in a 24V source causes the lights to blink, so clearly this is 12V max. Just be aware

Not so easy to use
Well first of all, I ordered 4 strips to link them all together. It arrives and the description prior to buying never told me I would need a power cord. So that was an added expense. Get a 24V power cord. Not the common one(12v) found at Best Buy. We finally attach it to our gazebo and it works. However, under an hour they go off. We look the power cord it so hot. So we have a short somewhere. So e get to go back and see where the connection issue between cords. My dad always says “what is worth more? Your time or your money?” This how I decide between a lot of purchases. Definitely here I should have bought the more expensive ones.
