Packaging is very good which indicates there is not a possibility of any moisture seeping into the packet. Although packet is secure it still allows the odor, lavender, to come through. Strong enough to allay any negative odors but not overpowering.

a mouse died in the wall behind my closet in my bedroom - as you can imagine i was desperately trying to get the smell under control fast as it always gets worse. i threw 3 old citrus fresh wave packs i had that i got years ago; immediately it helped dull the smell. 2 i used already in my shows & they were pretty dried up, so i ordered these to help boost odor absorption. LOVE the scent, i am a lavendar essential oil person, and this scent is 10/10-warm and lavendar smelling. no chemical smell and not bright or floral. i get migraines from many scents and prefer this over their citrus one! added two of these pouches, one by my bed-stand and one in the closet. it helped and between that and my air purifier i haven't smelled anything since! light lavender but nothing too strong and the bad smell is gone.

Smell and work great, but the little sachets are very fragile and tear easily, leaving the beads everywhere.

The smell of these packets is definitely not plant like. It's a heavy spice smell, almost like stew cooking. Sounds weird but I don't even know what to compare it to, it's very overpowering. It will definitely get rid of any odors so I gave it three stars for that but the odor it gives off is not exactly pleasant. I expected a more neutral, natural scent. I put one of these in a closet of a new apartment to freshen it up and in less than a day the smell of this packet completely overtook the closet and everything in it making me want to gag.

I bought this to put in my walk-in closet which has no ventilation. My shoes and laundry basket are stored in there, and in warm weather it smells a bit funky. This helps without making it smell like a gas station bathroom. I don't know how long each packet will last, but it was a fair price.

These are a great solution for the items in my garage. I have cats, and they don't like to lay where they find these nice smelling balls, what a perk!! Use them in a shop vac, and wow, what a difference. They are not just for a drawer or only in the house. Even the shed bins were a storage issue with smells, not anymore. If you are like me, you think using softener sheets are the answer, instead try these, and enjoy a much better longer lasting scent!

I have been using this product for a few years now, and find it very effective in small areas. Each little bag lasts for quite a while.
