The RL is a good coping saw.
The purpose I had in purchasing this coping saw to begin with was to use in cutting out waste while doing dovetailing. I've used it now a number of times for that purpose and it performed admirably ... its only weakness was me. Basically ... if I were as good as this coping saw my work would be masterful. However I haven't used it for awhile now as I've worked out other ways to get rid of dovetailing waist that I like better. But regardless I'm still glad to have the Larson saw and wouldn't discourage anyone from purchasing it. And in fact I would further recommend that you purchase replacement blades at the same time.

nice product
The blades was in a ordinary package and well "sharped". I think is too much "sharped" 'cos it tend to pull the wood back when the moviment is against the teeth but the material is very good and well sharped.

spend the money for some spares
Buy these when you buy your coping saw and you wont regret it. The blades are of a high quality, strong and stay sharp, but for the price it pays to have a few extra on hand just in case. Not much worse than being half way through a project, a blade breaks and you have to stop what you are doing to go get another, or worse yet, order some.

Good blades
I've recently been trying my hand at woodworking making boxes and crap. I had an old coping saw, but no blades. Ordered these blades and I got no complaints. They cut well and you get an ample supply of them; I think twelve, but I'm not getting up to count.

Good but not great.
Meant for wood but could cut more finely. Doesn’t stay sharp very long.

Awful
I was fairly confident when purchasing these because the reviews were mostly top notch. However the product I received was far from superior. The possibility of a lemon can be ruled out since I bought a package of several blades. I'm very familiar with coping saws and other trim carpentry tools and have been for years, these are junk. They are extremely dull, bend easily, and can be very dangerous due to the fact you must use excessive force to make your cut, I actually cut myself very badly because of this specific circumstance. I am very disappointed and would not recommend these blades to anyone.

Not exactly top quality.
I must be the only one who doesn't like these blades. Working on a project in Bubinga (admittedly a pretty tough wood) these blade just didn't go anywhere. 50 pulls and maybe 1/4" of progress in a 1" board. This was far worse performance than the existing blade on my coping saw (from Highland Woodworking) that I had already considered dull. (A new Veritas dovetail saw goes through the board like butter.) On examination the blade teeth were poorly finished and relatively dull. A bit of brute force and a softer wood would probably yield acceptable results, but I'm pretty disappointed--these are going straight in the trash.

High Quality Coping Saw Blades
These are the replacement blades for the "Robert Larson 540-2000 Coping Saw" which a high quality coping saw. I used these blades for coping Brazilian Cherry moldings in my kitchen (Brazilian Cherry has quite a bit of silica and will dull blades rather quickly) with no issues.
