I ordered the 'not original' African sponge, and it was nothing compared to this, the real deal!! You only need a small amount of soap or body wash, and this net sponge will give you endless amounts of suds, enough to scrub your whole body in no time. It's stretchy, has tiny knots that exfoliate your skin, you'll feel great afterward. I got 2 in a package, and it's a great value for your money. It's stretchy and long, very easy to reach your back side.

I will never, ever go back to a wimpy, disgusting loofah.Enter the African net sponge. These are washable, reusable, and last a really long time. They lather up beautifully and can easily be used to scrub *everything*, including your back, in between your toes, and all up in your business. The texture of these is such that it will exfoliate, but not scrape up and damage your skin. It's very satisfying to lather one up and scrub scrub scrub; your skin comes out so soft!Despite showering daily and having "good" hygiene, I have spent my whole life suffering from acne, itching, redness, dryness, eczema, and chronic skin problems. Like many women, I've blamed all of those issues on being allergic to soap and sensitive to fragrance, when the truth is this. I wasn't exfoliating properly, I wasn't moisturizing properly, and ultimately, I wasn't getting clean.Since I started using an African net sponge, all of those problems have gone away. I lather up with a good quality moisturizing body wash (usually Dove) and scrub everything. Then I will either use a sugar scrub OR do a second scrub using the net sponge with a smell-good body wash (my current favorite is from Trader Joes). Double cleansing + exfoliation, followed up with instant moisture (lotion or body oil WHILE You are still wet) is a game changer.I would be remiss not to mention that I learned about this from Black women! They know what's up!Do not mistake this for a loofah or other type of fabric scrub. You want the real deal. Loofahs harbor bacteria (because they never dry out), and knockoffs don't have the same properties when it comes to exfoliation. African Net Sponges have large loops, are very long and stretchy, fully dry between uses, and can go in the washing machine.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I normally use a natural loofah, which I still love, but wanted to switch it up with my shower routine. I read about African Net Sponges and decided to go for this one. Be careful, as you need to make sure they are authentic and that is how they are designed/created. I LOVE this product as it exfoliates my skin so well, it's long enough so I can scrub my back, and it holds my product well so I can lather everything on. My Loofah would often absorb the product, so I needed to add more. It is authentic, comes with 2 sponges and a travel bag. Also, I love how quickly it dries overnight. My routine with/ the sponge: First, an antibacterial soap (Dial) & then a good-smelling body wash to finish. My skin feels so smooth when I am done, and then I lotion up, and it is chef's kiss!

First time trying it I feel like it is comfortable to use I got scared because of the length but it’s pretty long it stretched out pretty well, I feel like it did exfoliate my skin it feels soft . Maybe not an original? It does a pretty good job

These are legit net sponges. Very good for removing dirt, sweat and dead skin when used with soap. We love these so much we got a second set. You will feel very clean after using these and it's even great for your face. They dry quickly and are easy to clean, just toss in the wash with towels. They're the perfect size for traveling as well, we have taken them on trips. They don't hold a smell like loffahs or cloths. Very sanitary and hold up well for everyday use.

Probably the best net sponge I've ever used. I HAS the knots. I switched out my Korean net sponge .August 1st 2025 and I've been using it for the past few days. I can already see my skin texture improvements. I have KP / strawberry skin and it has helped the roughness. This is better than the Korean version. Lathers soap, both liquid and bar, very well. You don't have to use much. Very long and if has 2 strings. You can reach your back easily. Dries fast and easy wash out.
