500GB 2.5 Inchs Hard Drive/HDD for Dell Latitude D620 Laptop

Need to upgrade my D630's original 80-GB hard drive. Very pleased with the seller's service, quick shipping, and price of the 500-GB upgrade. I easily installed it myself and reloaded all files from the old drive. It's been working great and now I have more than enough storage.

For some reason i don't know,i have not been able to use this hard drive.Either it is a wrong product for my laptop or my laptop is not a Dell Latitude D620.However,i am very certain my laptop is a Dell Latitude D620.No wonder it wasn't a prime stuff.Please gather more knowledge about a product before you buy.

I bought this to upgrade my dell latitude D620 with XP PRO after adding a pair of 2GB ram cards.I used a disc to reinstall the XP {SP3}.Then I bought the windows 8,8.1,10 disc upgrade because a 1 time 1 shot 1pc download that if you're not an IT and you make a mistake somewhere with no do-over.Then what?I'll pass on that and try my luck with the 2 disc set thank you.Plug #1 into disc bay and run untill done and restarts to finish up.Then set up the auto updates scedule.Sorry I forgot to mention using the store app to get the free 8.1 upgrade.It can take another 1-2 hours apprx.Then you can go for 10 afterwards.It's amost too easy.

Did Great! Installed it, reinstalled windows from my previously prepared disk image dvds, reallocated disk space from disk management in windows, and it is working great! No problems!

I purchased this drive for a Dell Latitude D620. While the description states that the drive is compatible with said model, the drive is 7mm in thickness. The Dell Latitude D620 requires a drive that is 9 mm in thickness. Result? The drive was not recognized by the BIOS. I came across a post on [...] where other folks had the same experience as I. Apparently, 7 mm laptop drives are specific to ultra thin laptops/notebooks.
