The actual USB port is very tight, so whilst it keeps it secure, it can be difficult to remove after. Mouse dongles are a good example of this, being both beneficial and also an inconvenience. High quality fast speeds connects without a problem little bit of a tight fit. Four for the price of two Anker ones that are pretty much the exact same item just different brand.

I've bought these a few times and have them in my home and at work. These are super handy for connect old (and not so old devices) that use USB Type A plugs. I used Macs and MacBook Pros which only come with USB Type C/Thunderbolt connections and I've not had any issues connecting devices with the adaptor to my Macs. I've tried a few other brands over the years but not all do data at the same speeds as these ones. I would highly recommend these.
