Love this stuff!
I love this stuff. I've used it to restore some old China and I'm now using it to make gifts. Easy to use and works wonderfully.I will surely be collecting more colors and this will become a regular medium in my crafting.

Pretty gold, not the shiny luster I was thinking
This paint is pretty, I used it on my cone 10 stoneware garden gnome statue and without even firing, it has lasted the test of time outdoors. I thought that it would be more like those smooth shiny lusters that I’ve seen people use on their ceramic mugs, and it’s more like gold paint

Great stuff
I buy a lot of these porcelain paints through Amazon. Michaels no longer carries them. I find them great help with ceramic sculptures that may need additional tweaking, or full treatment. THe colors come out great - you can bake in the oven to set the paint even more permanently. My friends at the art studio are getting some too. It can also help with tweaking planting pots for additional designs or a color change.

Does what I expected it to do
This is working great on the dishes I have used it on. I've used a pencil eraser to make confetti-like dots on plates and then bake them according to the instructions on the bottle that you will need a magnifying glass to read (unless you are nearsighted). Would love to have a paint pen for more control than I can get with my paintbrush. But any rate this works just as I expected.

Okay alternative to ceramic lusters
I purchased three metallic Pebeo Porcelaine 150 China Paints in gold, silver and copper to test as a time saving and lower cost replacement for firing ceramic lusters. My first attempt was a little clumsy, but I'm getting the hang of it. I will only be using these on decorative pieces and not functional ceramic items because I am pretty sure these are not food safe and the paint would not last long for repeated trips through the dishwasher. These paints cure in an oven and are painted on top of glazed ceramic ware. They are a little thick, so purchasing the Pebeo Porcelaine China Paint Thinner is a good idea. The paints, while metallic, are not quite as shiny as traditional lusters.

Very easy to use with good results.
Have used this many times over several years. If it is kept tightly capped, It can be used over and over again.
