Will the protective guide handle cutting pizza in the pan that's high heat? Will the plastic deform or "melt" used on a pan that just came 400º oven?

My wife and I have been using these Fiskars pizza cutters for over a year. They still look and perform like new. Nothing has ever melted cutting our pizza or touching the pan. They are also durable in the dishwasher. Again, they still look and perform like new.

It does not say. It only says Fiskars on it and in small print UC101
