A great expansion for Monopoly! Definitely shortens the game as it ends when all the properties are claimed, not when everyone is bankrupt. My son and I had a blast playing it!

Fun addition to Monopoly. Actually made the game longer by an hour, not shorter. I love the long game; a lot of family time. The quality is really good, and overall, I think it was definitely worth what I spent. Very fun to play.

Monopoly has always been an awesome game. But now you throw into the mix this expansion set and it completely changes the dynamics of play. When you play the expansion set you remove the community chest and chance cards. You add two clip on spaces on the board. One is on top of the luxury taxes and the other one on income tax squares. These clip on spaces will send you to jail and the Go to Jail space gets an additional section attach to it as the jail square does to. The object of the expansion set is to spend time in jail because crime does pay you more, a lot more than you realize. And thus, the more time you spend there the more corruption cards you can collect. These cards allow you to get away with all kinds of crimes and schemes not available to you as the player in the regular version.It changes the dynamics of the game in a fun and mischievous way. Bottom line to win with this version you have to play dirty and the game allows you to play that way.

Hello, so I bought this expansion as it peaked my intrest as an avid monopoly enjoyer. I had no clue what I was in for as I only read the directions for the new expansion as I wanted to be suprised by the cards. Well suprised I was, there were several new ways to win the game as there are now win conditions that can easily bring a 2 hour game to a close in 10 to 20 minutes. Such win conditions as rolling doubles three times In a row or owning 8 properties can net you the winner of monopoly which I found ridiculous in a fun way. There are other aspects that are included in this expansion such as buying never before obtainable spaces such as go, go to jail, community chest and etc. This expansion adds alot of new twist and would highly reccomend. For an even crazier card would highly pair with one of the other expansions, like the free parking expasion.

This fixes some issues with Monopoly.First- Stop playing with house rules!Landing on Free Parking does nothing. There is no "Jackpot". If you don't buy a property to goes to auction.This expansion removes the Chance and Community Chest cards, and adds a die in each place. Each one has a payoff or a Go to Jail option. There is no more tax spaces, they are now Go to Jail spaces. Getting out of jail you must pay (no more rolling) and the price is higher, and you get special cards in jail... These are the 'Take That' cards. In the normal Jail, you get cards that pull give you an advantage... I the "Super Jail" (Why did they call it that, not Prison or "Maximum Security"?) you get the real "Take That!" Cards... Including one that lets you swap money with someone.Now it does make the game meaner, but it isn't the "meanest person wins". If you are in a jail, you cannot win, and the game ends when the last property is bought or someone goes bankrupt. So if you play your cards right, the person in last place can win.A great expansion. Well worth it.

I think it was priced higher than it should be

Was way better than expected. The parts are nice enough or whatever but what was really excellent was the gameplay, extremely chaotic and fun kinda like a really wild mario kart race. All but one of my friends loved it.
