My previous metal card holder got damaged on a return trip from Yorkshire last month and would not close properly anymore so it was time for a replacement. I spotted this on amazon and decided to give it a go. My POWR card holder arrived in no time and I have to say I am very pleased with it. It looks well designed and fairly rugged and I should get a good few years use out of it. This is a very slim item and not much bigger than the credit/debit cards it protects. Top and bottom are two blue grey metal plates with the corners rounded off that look riveted together and the sides are some dense hard black plastic or resin material. The black switch at the base simply pushes out the cards when pushed from left to right. Very simple yet effective. The design works best when filled with cards.

I like the logo on the front of the box, it is not too distracting and it is not overboard in terms of the colour (as some companies will have bright or multicoloured boxes which can be a bit much).The credit card holder is of a very good quality. It is very straightforward to use and I like the fact it is the right size to be able to put inside your pocket, bag, or even in your car without losing it, or without it being too clunky. I like the fact that inside it comes with an example card, with your 12 month warranty eligibility, to demonstrate how the card holder works - without this I wouldn’t have been 100% sure on exactly what to do, and think this is very handy. The way it has been designed and manufactured is clearly of a good quality, it feels very sturdy and I think the leather gives the product a very nice finish. Again, the design on it is simple yet this is really effective because I think it will draw people to wanting to purchase this.In terms of the key ring, it feels very sturdy, and in my case, it would definitely act as a great strap so that I can hold onto my keys properly!I would certainly buy this gift for someone as an extra - I think it is very reasonably priced, it is something you can use in day to day life as it is very handy, and the quality is of a very good standard - it does not feel flimsy, it looks smart, and the packaging also makes the item look to be of a very high standard. Overall I would give this product 5/5 stars!

I have had this for a year and have had no issues. It is very convenient, light and durable.

I'm not sure how I would. If I simply held the item up to a legitimate contactless pay station and failed to complete a transaction would that be 100% proof that illegal RFID readers couldn't penetrate the cover? I don't think so, but I'm not sure what would, without putting my cards at deliberate risk.But as a card carrier and physically secure container this is excellent. It is very neat - barely bigger than the cards itself - and the frame is sturdy and strong. The cards are all well held in place and unlikely to slip out until I choose to use the release mechanism. At that stage they are cascaded out, still firmly held, so I can see and select which one(s) to remove.Overall it fits very well in to a pocket or pouch, prevents individual cards moving and rubbing in a pocket, and is a very reassuring container. I'm very pleased with this purchase.END OF ORIGINAL REVIEW----------UPDATEOne wet, cold, late afternoon in January in Manchester, I returned to my parked car after having been away for 2½ hours. I spotted something lying the street just beside my rear door. Aah - it was my metal card wallet! It must have fallen from my jacket pocket as I removed it from the back seat. It had clearly been run over many times by other vehicles. It didn't even have the luxury of a flat tarmac or concrete surface to support it: this street still had cobblestones and the wallet would have been bent and twisted over them each time it was hit.The unit itself was still intact, but not a smooth rectangle any longer. It was chipped, scratched, scuffed, dented and twisted enough that the eject mechanism no longer worked. However when I got it home, I was able to prise one corner rivet open (the five others had all held firmly in place) and get my cards out. All of my cards. Not one missing. And, amazingly, other than about 5mm from the open end, all dry.What a mighty piece of work is this wallet. Never mind RFID, if you need physical protection for your cards, this is very strongly recommended.

I love that I’m not sitting on a huge wallet all day. It took some getting used to not being able to feel a wallet in my pocket.
