Very quiet and long lasting. Arrived hours before it was due which was perfect as I needed it asap. Not to mention it came with a generous amount of thermal paste which made fitting it a breeze.

The fan is very quiet during normal operation and easy to fit. However, during intensive tasks when the cpu is running at 100%, the fan may become louder, but it's still a lot quieter than my previous heatsink and fan of similar design. Even though it comes with thermal paste applied to the base I added an extra dab of thermal paste just to be safe.

Correcting my previous review... item was simply in the wrong packaging! Even comes with the manual for the processor but has the fan instead. Bizarre. But, ultimately exactly what was ordered.
