Purchased these since the speakers I previously had that were much more expensive and higher end started crackling all the time. Tried to use the speakers in my monitor, but they really were a sharp drop off from the other speakers. These speakers are better than the ones the monitor had. A little tinny sounding with not too much base, but then I wasn't going to spend a ton of money on higher end speakers again. What I didn't like is the short length of the USB cable and the 3.5mm audio jack cable. Luckily, I have a desktop USB hub, so I could plug it in there. However, had to get a 3.5mm audio extension cable to reach my actual PC.

They don't have the sound quality I was looking for and found in speakers cheaper than these. But they look quite good and perhaps if I had a better laptop they would sound better too.

well,its not the first time using this ,my sis has one and its loud enough for me to use on my laptop .It came in proper condition no damage and sounds great. this brand always carries great quality items.
