Beachtime fun!
I think one of the joys of being a dad is those experiences you get to pass on to your kids. Like those annual trips to the beach and boogie boarding, jumping the waves, and skim boarding. This skimboard is perfect for young kids looking for some beach going activity - but maybe aren't ready to get into the waves. Perfect for the low slope beaches like Myrtle - this skimboard is ready to go out of the packaging.Run, slide, and hop on is all there is to it.The build is solid (no wood strands) and the foam top is pretty darn grippy.

Favorite beach toy
As a kid I would watch the skim boarders and think, man I want to try that, but the boards were hard to find and expensive. This is great.Well made, high quality materials, perfect shape and weight.Just practice with it for a while and off you go, skimming along the water at the beach, super fun when you get it down.

Seems like it will be good
I got this in mid-fall. I have not used it since the sea around us is 50 degrees and dropping. Having used skimboards, it looks the part and I have no reason to believe it will not be a good product.Ideal as a children's present.

Nice top, maybe a bit short for adults
Overall... a great board. My one star deduction is around the fact they claim it is for adults. At 36" length this is a pretty short board for as thin as it is. Likely 100lbs or so weight wise is about as heavy as you want to go. It's a decent thickness (which helps) but you might have a hard time getting this to go very far if you're north of 100-120lbs. (Typically looking for like 40"+) I know they claim 150 but that's going to be challenging I think.Potential length issues aside (my daughter will be able to ride this no problem) I do really like the padded top... good grip and will make learning to ride much easier on her. I suspect it'll wear a bit more than going with a wood top like we used to have but it'll last plenty long to get our money's worth out of it.All in all a solid option for learning to skimboard with maybe optimistic sizing in the marketing of it.
