Some broke but our boy 13 loved these!

I’ll state this in my 8 yr old grandson’s words: “These are just junk. They fall apart every time I just try to play with them. I’m done with them. Tell people don’t buy them.” Though the ad states that they are returnable for 30 days, Amazon says, with no notice in the ad, they must be mailed back, at our expense, to CHINA! It would cost about the same as we paid for them. So cheap that one figure has TWO LEFT LEGS. Real garbage.

So, the figure is a bit smaller than was expected, but not terribly so. my main issue is the way some parts attach to the model. there are panels at limb joints where they will simply fall off, specifically the head, neck, and arm shoulder panels, which slot onto tiny peg structures protruding from the arm and neck frames respectively. the plastic feels a bit cheap, which was to be expected from the listing description. what wasn't expected was how flimsy the ball and socket joints are, which would have benefited from more robust connections that more fully secured together, deeper sockets that enclose the ball joint, especially since i don't see people part swapping limbs from different models.It will suit my purposes as a posing reference for drawing, but i would not recommend this as a toy for young children. too many of the small parts slide off too easily, and i suspect that the joints will wear out pretty quickly.for upsides this is probably one of the most pose able models I've seen for the price with an excellent range of motion, and out of the packaging the joints seem to have a nice balance of motion and hold. only time will tell if that stands up in the long run. i would definitely recommend this to artists as a pose model, especially with the included props, over the wooden art dummies you typically see, but it's actual value would be better at $5 for what you're getting.

My grandson is 10 and he asked for these for Christmas. They have sparked his creativity for making stop-action videos . We may have a future film maker in the wings.
