Dried Persimmon (250g(0.55pounds))

I should have read the reviews! The fruit comes two in a package, not like the picture of a bowl of nice looking fruit. (yes, I should have thought .22 pounds) The fruit has a "chemical" taste not a strong persimmon.It was ordered on Dec 1, recieved two notices that it would be late around midJjanuary. Perhaps, they had just planted the tree and had to wait for the fruit to grow???It was well wrapped as if it were made of glass.$8.33 for a fruit that weights about 1 and a quarter pennies is a bit high.

My son was excited to try these after having watched a video that featured persimmons. We ordered on September 11, aware that there would be somewhat of a wait. Exactly one month later, the package arrived. We opened the package ... only to be immediately deflated. Instead of five brightly-colored, healthy-looking persimmons as advertised, there were two almost black hockey pucks. We all tried a small taste, and there was absolutely none. I'll take the blame for not realizing the package would be so small, but these were absolutely, 100% not what was advertised and were a complete and total waste of money. Do yourself a favor and scroll past these.

To start with the persimmons are not orange but purple. My pictures don't do it justice. They smell strongly of yeast. They are covered in white granules that I hope are sugars but may be eggs.

I received 4 pieces of product. The seller picture depicted a bowl filled. For $22, I can buy over 3 pounds, local for that amount of money. The product also was very dark colored and unappetizing. I couldn’t eat it! It was all shriveled up.

Seller is not honest and the product is just two for very high price.I get them cheaper at local market
