Excellent way to add rtsp functionality to device which doesn't.
Bought this for device that has hdmi output but no rtsp streaming capability. Now can access the output of this device to all my Smart Tvs all around my house, using for example, VLC (no need to specify port 554). Easy to set up but make sure to access the setup page with http and not https, so port 80 instead of port 443. Easily watch the output on your rtsp viewer. The ability to use either the hdmi audio or through the audio input is a nice feature. I monitor this device temperature through the status page (eg. CPU Junction Temperature:60°C). This doesn't vary much.

Good for converting usb files to h264
This is ok. I didn’t realize it’s really just converting video from the USB to h264/5. I thought it was more of a network converter so that was my fault. It functions as described, however not exactly what I was looking for. If your needed to convert under these conditions that it’s a good solution.

This works on some cameras but not all. Had a difficult time connecting with the camera I got this for so the jury is still out on this one.

Doesn’t work, very disappointing :(
Disappointed, expected it to work with a IP Reolink doorbell camera. It seems to be able to identify the resolution and rate, but the stream becomes abnormal. So no video output. The IP doorbell camera supports multiple video formats.But this device doesn’t like any of them. They all fail to continue after the resolution and rate are identified. I did notice it seem to indicate the video stream was H.265, when all other equipment identifies the Reolink as H.264. There doesn’t seem to be a way to change the decoding.

Eliminates the need for a PC or Laptop to display content
This little device allows playback of streams from a variety of sources on a TV or other display. Using the web-UI, you can specify a URL from all the usual suspects, and it'll decode and play. Other options, like looped or playlist-sequential playback. It also has the option to multiplex the output, so you can display multiple streams in a 2x2 configuration.Great for surveillance cameras or digital signage applications.
