Good Quality - fit needs work
I use Smaash shorts - the fit is great. These are a step up in features and quality which is very nice indeed. The fabric is great, feels pesudo rubbery and very strong. However, the bagginess of the cut and the bizarre inclusion of a drawcord that has some weird technique to make it work, all to no effect is annoying. On balance, I would stay with Smaash shorts for the cheaper price and better, simpler fit.

Great quality and very cool design
Great quality shorts, comfortable fit and very cool design, especially paired with the matching rashguard. Hayabusa are certainly on the more expensive end of the MMA gear market, but in my experience you get what you pay for and these shorts are noticeably higher quality than any cheaper brand I've owned, the material has a nicer feel to it and really does feel very durable and well stitched, so hopefully in the long run will last longer and work out no more expensive than buying multiple cheaper pairs of shorts.Only minor downside I've noticed in some of the Hayabusa shorts is that the inner grip waistband material can start to peel in places after a while. This really isn't the end of the world though, I've used shorts before that had no waistband grip at all and I had no issues with them, so it's just a nice to have, not an essential feature, and if it does peel off over time, it really won't ruin the shorts

Qualität hat ihren Preis
Natürlich sind 50€ für eine Shorts zum Training erstmal viel aber die Qualität ist es definitiv Wert. Der Stoff ist dick und sehr hochwertig und das Design erstklassig. Bei 195cm und ca. 97Kg trage ich eigentlich Gr.34 aber mit Tiefschutz empfehle ich die 36er. 34 passt auch aber dann ohne Tiefschutz.

Buonissimo il materiale come pure l'originale disegno di hayabusa. Costo forse un po' elevato ma qui si paga anche il marchio. Resta comunque un bion acquisto. Valeria

Great looking shorts went down in first round against washing machine!
Great looking pair of shorts. The material quality is good, however, after one cold wash (air dried) the fly velcro seams are all torn and the velcro is detaching. The inside drawstring also become untied, and because the string only looped through one side of the elastic band clasps, the elastic band retracted into the shorts and couldn't be retrieved. This is a little disappointing - if the washing machine is too much of an opponent for these shorts, who will they stand up in practice?
