Sturdy and multi-size
The holder attaches securely to a mic stand and I feel confident that it can hold the weight of a cup full of liquid. The flexible tabs inside make it auto-adjust to a variety of cup sizes. I've been using it with a 20 oz Yeti cup and it has been just right.

Be careful !
The item arrived within the time frame listed. The packaging was ok with no immediate signs of damage. The clamping screw down appears to offer the necessary rigidity to negate slipping. I use this on a microphone 🎤 stand. The adjustable sliding tray which is at the bottom and can accommodate various beverage sizes. However be aware that the holder can easily detach from the clamp which is separate from the beverage holder. I used a hot glue to insure that insert of the holder will never detach from the clamp. Without this hot glue, the holder kept freeing itself from the clamping mount. You will be quickly aware of what I mean when mounting the holder yourself. No more issues noted. Its was an easy fix for me but I wouldn't trust the holder without having hot glue on the holder's tabs.

Best I've seen for cans and bottles
Attaches to a mic stand (or similar, I use it on a keyboard stand) very easily, and holds in place with no problem. Note the max size is going to be for a can or beer bottle, which is what most people will be wanting. A stemless or steel wine glass/cup would not fit.

Clamp
I doesn't work for my purpose. It isn't strong enough for a large tall cup. No matter how tight the clamp it still goes down. I even had my mainenance worker do the tighting.
