This is a great potting soil mix. I've used it for several houseplants but added other soil to this mixture. So far, those plants are doing well. I appreciate that there are 7 different ingredients inside this mix. Putting it all together makes for a great well-draining soil mix. One warning—be sure to recognize the size you are ordering. I got the smaller one—it's a pretty small package. I plan to order this product again later, but I will get a bigger bag.

I know nothing about orchids. I've killed 2 so far. I was gifted one for my birthday and decided to do some research and keep it alive.This soil is perfect helps keep the moisture correct, my orchid is alive and growing! Thank you for helping me concur this plant!

Looks like it truly is one of the best brands! The soil has a nice varied composition, and it includes an instruction booklet. My only complaint would be that it was kind of expensive for such a small amount.

I got this to have a better draining soil. I guess I should have watched out for the ounces it was because it is a pretty small bag. Other than that its a great product

I used this kit to re-plant an orchid I bought a few months ago. It is the perfect blend of bark, moss and water-absorbing material. I separately purchased a plastic insert with slits in the bottom and sides,and followed the instructions for this product to do the repotting. It was very straightforward and easy. The moss gives a nice finished look to the plant and allows air to circulate from the top down. It doesn't have any scent, and the package size was perfect for the 4"x4" container I used. I'm hoping this will further increase the bloom and growth rate of my plant.

This comes bone dry and not mixed so I had to dump it all out in a bucket to mix and ended up covered with dust. The perlite and coconut peat are very fine, the bark is too big, and there isn't much sphagnum so it doesn't blend well. It drains but I'm going to have to keep a careful eye on the plants.

This is a nice healthy mix of organic materials, not just wood chips like one would find in local stores. I have used this product to repot orchids that had outgrown their containers and they are doing very well. It is a small bag, however, it does expand ( I soaked mixture for about a hour before potting ) and amount was perfect for a fairly deep 7 inch ( diameter ) pot. Also, I’m happy to support a small, family-owned business. I do recommend this product.

I know nothing about orchids, but bought this to repot one for my 90 year old friend. Seems to be good quality and water drains well through the potting medium. There was no lingering order, easy to work with.
