Byzantine Chain Sterling Silver Byzantine Necklace for Men 2.5mm Chain for Men Women

This is a nice Byzantine chain. I chose the 22" option and mine did measure correctly. I really like the square Byzantine link of this necklace, it's different and not like anything else I own. This necklace would look good with a pendant but it is nice enough to wear on it's own. The chain is marked on both ends S925 for sterling silver. It is lightly oxidized and then polished to a shine The end caps are a bit sharp on the edges, they could've used a bit more finishing. There was also a small rock, what I assume to be a polishing stone, stuck in the lobster claw that I had to really work at to get out. The necklace came in a small branded jewelry box with a little polishing cloth too. This is a cool chain, and I think it would make a great gift for anyone. A bit more attention to detail and quality control and this would've been a five star review.

This chain is absolutely beautiful! Very eye catching and luxurious. It's made of hefty, high quality sterling silver. It feels very strong and incredibly unlikely to ever break. Even the end points and clasp are substantial!The style is very intricate and detailed and looks great on it's own, yet at the same time not so over the top that you couldn't also wear it with a larger sized pendant.Like many chains in this style, it can catch just a little on hair (not horribly, but if you have long hair probably don't go to sleep wearing it).UPDATE: While I got this first one through the Vine program, I actually ended up loving this chain so much that when I wanted to find a shorter chain, I ended up buying basically the same chain from this same seller, just shorter! It's such a gorgeous and high quality sterling chain and it looks awesome with pretty much everything. Gets lots of compliments! Also, I take back what I said before about not wearing it to sleep, I wear it 24/7 and any hair catching is rare and minimal!

This item is a sterling Byzantine chain that goes with any type of outfit. I have been wanting this style of chain since I saw one under glass in a 90’s Boutique. It measures 2.5mm in circumference. Because I am American I thought this necklace would be thicker. 2.5 mm =.09 inches. For example, 6.35 mm=1/4 inch.Despite my thinking the chain would be thicker, I think I prefer its dainty size because I plan on putting a sterling charm in it that I also ordered on the Vine Program. This is a lovely chain that was priced at $85.99 at the time I ordered it. There is currently a 15% off coupon you can take advantage of. I feel the price is equivalent with a chain that is such good quality it could be an heirloom piece if properly stored and cared for.

This might be my new favorite sterling silver chain. It's not flimsy at all, quite hefty and strong. And the chain itself is very smooth so it doesn't catch on clothes or hair. I love the intricate design, it's very unusual. It can easily be worn on its own or paired with a pendant. Feels very strong and has a solid lobster claw clasp. The workmanship looks excellent, so if you're looking for a beautiful sterling silver chain for yourself or to give as a gift, check this one out.

This is a well made silver necklace that would be equally good for a man or a woman. It's heavy enough to be worn on its own or with a chunky pendant. Recommended.
