Great set for kids young and old
Great lego set, im more of a ucs builder but this went great with the sets I have.Build time was a 1-2 hours with my kids helping and had great fun playing and reenacting the first screen for the movie.A very solid set with great design for playing a action sequence. Love how you can make the stormtroopers go flying and the open and closing only the blast door 👌🏼

Great value set, awesome mini figure selection.
This is an awesome Lego Star Wars set depicting the iconic scene from New Hope when Darth Vader is first introduced to audiences. It is a faithful recreation of a section of the hallway from the Rebel ship, the Tantive IV, which the imperial forces board - the white hallways and various details look great and it is obvious that a great deal of effort has been made on the part of the design team to get it looking just right. There are also some pleasing play features incorporated, which are surprisingly effective making the set ideal not only for adult collectors but also younger fans. The mini figure selection is generous, with Vader and his two Storm Troopers matched up with Captain Antilles and two Rebel Fleet troopers. In fact, I am tempted to get a second copy of the set, as many of these figures are desirable army builders. The set manual even goes as far as suggesting this as an option, with technic connectors making it possible to clip two of the builds together to make a longer hallway! As with several other sets this year, a special 25th anniversary figure is included. These are characters from wider Star Wars lore, not necessarily ones that would feature in the particular set they are in. The one included in this set, Clone ARC trooper Fives, is a popular character from the clone wars TV series and one I never really expected Lego to make. As a collector, this made the set a must have for me. The Fives figure looks great, with lots of detail including printed arms, an accurate face including his facial hair and distinctive tattoo, a brick built backpack and a cloth paldron. I am aware the helmet hasn’t gone down so well in certain quarters, but it does match the current style of Lego clones and if it bothers you that much, it’s not hard to source custom made alternatives these days. In general, this ranks among the best Lego clone trooper figures produced to date. As with the other 25th anniversary figures, it comes complete with a buildable display stand featuring a printed tile. The figure itself does not have 25th anniversary branding, which makes it more desirable when compared to the earlier 20th anniversary figs. With such a generous mini figure count for a Star Wars set and a great build combined, I would definitely recommend this set. The recent 20% discount for this set on Amazon has also been a great deal if (like me) you are a collector on a budget!

A must for a Star Wars fan
This is a fantastic set that represents one of the most iconic openings in film history. Whilst it’s not one of the ‘Diorama’ sets normally associated with scenes, it’s hard to see why not? You can normally pick this up with a discount (mine was £35 when I bought it) and that makes it even better value for money. Minifigures are great and offer something a little different, plus the sliding door is a really cool little feature and a good sturdy mechanism. Took me about an hour to assemble and is a great addition to my collection.

An amazing kit
This is by far one of the cheapest and fun kits for the original stars wars sets. So much character put into this it’s a great size for the desk display. For kids and adults it’s totally playable for recreating that iconic moment in the movie.Took me about 2hours to build but that a good amount of time for a 5 bag kit.The added bonus of course is the Rex model another great add on. But for me it’s the detail they’ve gone into for Earth Vader with the helm construction. See photos below also they even added the extra height for Vader so his iconic hight shows in the kit.Well worth the money and highly recommend for any Star Wars enthusiasts. And Lego collectors.
