I bought this for a new mahogany-finish desk. Very heavy and sturdy, doesn't slide around, and goes very well with the finish of the desk. Looks really classy. I would recommend it.

I LOVE IT
My only regret was that I went with a PVC desk pad instead of this beautiful desk blotter.I need to touch-up my painted Desktop because of this, but this is wonderful and won’t ruin your painted surface.(If my opinions changes in the next 30 days - I will update).So far, I am very pleased
