I really should write reviews, considering I probably paid for Jeff Bezo’s yacht. This is one of the best purchases ever. I tend to go to sleep with wet hair. Thus, when I wake up my hair (touches my shoulders) is one big frizzy, crinkled up mess. I’m used to using my curling iron or revlon brush dryer, but get a so-so result which takes a good 15 minutes. With this tool, I literally run it through my hair maybe max 10 times, 2-3 minute total and I am completely done. It’s freaking amazing.

Works well with straighting still can get warm to the touch though

I love the iron. My hair is very thick, course and curly underneath but straight on top. I love that this iron will straighten underneath my hair and it is fast.

Frist things first, this is not designed to be used on WET HAIR. I used it on my daughters hair after a wash and a blow dry and a thorough brushing. She has light wavy hair, nothing too tough or curly. It easily catches and tangles hair even with a heat and detangling spray (even after the brushing). It took 6 passes for each section of hair but it did eventually straighten the hair. Once it catches on a tangle, you have to yank it off that section or it will start to burn the hair. The element is too hot to get close enough to the shorter hairs around the front. All told, it took 32 mins to do a children's sized head. Got had again with the late night IG ads. Not impressed, guess I'll stick with her RevAir to do everything at once.

I don’t press my thick 4C hair often, but when I do I prefer to used a pressing brush over a pressing comb. This does the job well enough, but it is incredibly hard, near impossible, to clean properly after each use. If I bought another one, I would make sure it would be one I can clean easier.

I’ve had naturally curly hair my entire life when I was younger it was very thick and out of control. This is the first straightener I’ve ever used that just slides through my hair. This is almost unbelievable! I’m going buy a back up just in case. I have had the $150 dry bar straightener. I’ve had every straightener imaginable. My mom would even use a blow dryer when I was young to no avail. This is the one!

The low heat is great for touching up my hair and gentler on Hair.
