It has a soft smooh texture. I can feel the heated steering wheel through it.

I have a steering wheel that is 14.5" exactly. There is NO way this cover fits a 15" steering wheel. It is also completely stiff, so even if I could have gotten it on the wheel, the edges would have stuck straight out. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

We bought a 1984 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 Convertible (20th Anniversary edition) from my FIL and I just didn't like the steering wheel...very skinny and uncomfortable. Amazon said this cover would fit the 40 year old car - but I was skeptical. I was wrong...It fits PERFECT and feels great! Would recommend this to anyone!
