Honestly, that was my mistake—but it turned out to be a happy accident! I have super curly, afro-style hair, and even the mini Unbrush worked wonders for me.From the very first use, I noticed how gentle and effective the Unbrush is at detangling my curls. It glides through my hair without pulling or snagging, and it makes my wash days so much easier and less painful. The mini size was surprisingly efficient, and I used it for a while until I was able to get my hands on the full-size version.Now that I have both, I can say with confidence that the Unbrush is the best hair brush I’ve ever used for my hair type. The full size is perfect for handling all my thick, curly hair at once, but the mini is great for travel or quick touch-ups. No matter which size you choose, you can’t go wrong!If you have curly, coily, or afro-textured hair and are searching for a brush that truly works, I can’t recommend the Unbrush enough. In fact, when I misplaced my previous one, I quickly replaced it because I really missed having it around.For someone with curly hair, finding a brush that works without pulling or causing discomfort can be a challenge. This mini detangler handles my hair effectively. It's surprisingly sturdy for its compact size, which is a huge plus. It manages to get through my curls without feeling flimsy, which has been an issue with other travel brushes I've tried.The size is definitely a highlight here. It's small enough to fit easily into any bag without taking up much space, but it's still substantial enough to provide a good grip and effective detangling. I also own the larger UNbrush, and while that one is great for home use, this mini version truly shines for travel. It just works really well for quickly sorting out tangles, whether my hair is wet or dry.If you're looking for a dependable, compact detangling brush, especially if you have curly hair and need something effective for on-the-go, I'd definitely recommend giving this one a try.

The media could not be loaded. My daughter already has two of the full-size UNbrushes (one at home and one in the car), but she wanted something smaller to carry around at school. This mini version has been perfect—she says it works just as well as the standard size. It’s small enough to fit easily in her backpack but not so tiny that it’s hard to use. The lightweight design is great, though I do wonder about durability since it feels a bit delicate. So far, so good, and she’s happy with it!

I bought this brush for my granddaughter because brushing her hair is usually a battle. She hates it because of all the tangles in her fine, baby hair, and I’ve tried several different brushes, but she always complains that it hurts. When I first pulled this mini detangler brush out of the box, I was a little concerned because it seemed a bit flimsy. But I decided to give it a shot, and guess what? No complaints! She actually lets me brush her hair now, which is a miracle in itself! Therefore, I didn't deduct any stars for this concern.I also tried it on my own hair, and I was seriously impressed. It worked through the tangles smoothly, without pulling or hurting, so I’m sold. I got her the purple sparkly version because what little girl can resist sparkles? Plus, purple is her favorite color, so it was a no-brainer.If this brush continues to work as well as it has, I’m definitely considering buying more, maybe some of the holiday-themed ones to make brushing even more fun next season. I’ll update my review if I decide to grab another one, but for now, this brush is a win in our house!So, if you’re looking for a brush that’s gentle, effective, and (most importantly) makes your little one love getting their hair brushed, this is the one. Highly recommend!

This brush is mini so my daughter is able to brush her own hair and it fits perfectly in her hands. I honestly don't under what it is about this brush that makes it far superior to any other ice used but trust me this brush cuts through tangles with ease and pain free no tugging, And we have thick hair in this home. This brush is comfortable for your hair and scalp. You can use it in the shower or with dry hair.

I use this brush to brush out my $10 synthetic Amazon extensions and WOW. It doesn’t tug on the hair amd it keeps it soft and the curls entact. Very good for old cheap tangled extensions. Took like. 10 minutes to brush out a set of 6 clips

I’m gonna give three stars because it was partially my fault for not reading… ITS A MINI SIZE BRUSH I literally could have bought the full size brush for a dollar more.. the color is cute the value for the price is bs cus it’s not cheaper than the original size I love this brush so much I bought it again. But ya

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bought this for my dog. She's a Maltese mix with cotton soft hair. I have one of the larger ones for myself and love it. It does a decent job of goring through her hair without pulling. It's the only brush she'll let me use for more than a minute. I got the smaller one because she's tiny and it helps get into small places like under her ears. It doesn't work on established mats, but it helps prevent them.
