My Dog Likes Them...
My 14 year old Yorkie was diagnosed with Kidney disease in 2018. On a good day, he is extremely fussy about what he will eat. The food he is on to help with his Kidneys is NOT one he likes, but it is important he is on it. Because he isn't crazy about the food he's getting (or because he just doesn't feel like eating), there are days he doesn't touch his food at all. When I saw these and read the ingredients, I thought they were worth a try. First, they are small - second, they are easy for him to eat (meaning small in size and soft) and third, he likes them!!! I have been giving him one every a.m. - at the end of the day, if he didn't eat his food, he gets another one. He seems to love them and they offer me peace of mind that he is still getting something good for him into his system EVERYDAY to help him heal.

Formulation change
I've been using this product for a long time and have felt like it was helping my 15 year old cat with his kidney failure. When opening this last bottle I noticed the pellets were a darker color and the smell was different. I gave him a mixture of the old and new bottles of this product. He ate the two pellets from the old batch and refused to eat the new ones. He has since refused to eat the new formulation at all. I'm disappointed to lose something that he liked and seemed to be helping him. Now to find something else. I know I don't have much more time with him.

3 out of 4 cats approve!
That’s right, 3 out of my 4 cats approve of these kidney cat treats. Kidney failure is the most common factor in cat deaths sadly. Thankfully, my oldest, 12-year-old cat (pictured) loves these treats and since keeping a healthy kidney means a longer life for my cats, I will continue giving these to them. Only one of my cats isn’t interested but she is picky with all treats. I’ve only started giving these to them, so I can’t expand of the effects but nutrition takes time and I’m hoping for the best.

My cat won't eat these, but they offered a return
I have four cats- one is suffering with kidney disease, and is practically a vacuum cleaner when it comes to grocery store treats, but he won't eat these. I really wish he would have. The company surprised me by offering a refund.

My cat loves the taste.
My 8 year old cat Rocky has been on these for 2 weeks so I can’t make an honest assessment as of now. But so far I haven’t noticed any difference in his urination, which is why I started him on them. I can make one positive, he likes the taste and thinks they’re a treat. I will update this post once he’s been on them longer for a more complete review.

Good way to start your cat out on kidney protective herbs
I had heard about lLung Gold, but it seemed like it would be hard to dose, and also had dong quai in it which I didn't think would be particularly helpful for my cat. This has the main ingredients, rehmannia and astragalus. My cat will eat this on her own although she has gotten pickier as time goes by so I have to usually encourage her a bit more. However it seems very palatable overall to her. In the future I will dose her with bulk herbs but this is a great and easy way to see if your cat responds without having to force feed a dropper or put these in a pill pocket. Rehmannia and astragalus have great evidence for kidney protection. This helps remove the ammonia scent coming from my cat, although I have not yet taken blood tests. This formula is missing the cordyceps mushroom, so if you can add that separately that would make this even more powerful.

Kidneys
I break on in half and my cat eats it with her afternoon snack. She seems to tolerate it well.

Simba would rather starve.
Translated for my cat: I went 1 week without treats and 2 days without wetfood, dry only! And still could not stomach the thought of even putting one of these in my mouth let alone eat one. I would rather starve! Simba-Maine coon.
