Are these comparable to Cheerios?

Healthier, in my opinion, but necessarily blander as they are made from oats and rice, with minimal sugar. If you've ever eaten boiled oats by themselves, then you know how bland oats taste (that's why people add milk, brown sugar, raisins, bananas, etc.) Not long ago I bought a box of Cheerios because Morning O's were not available and they tasted burnt to me. Cheerios marketing would no doubt say that they were "toasted", but a burnt flavor was what I was experiencing. I bought a second box from another store because I thought it was a one time issue, but it turned out that they had the same burnt/toasted flavor. I prefer the Morning O's - bland and healthy is fine by me because I can always add fruit to flavor the cereal.

It contains cane sugar and molasses. 1 1/2 cup = 11 grams sugar

Which is the plain, unsweetened version?

The list of ingredients on the box say some sugar is added, but the total sugars in the cereal are only 2 grams which is very low.

what is the volume of this 14 oz (which is weight) cereal box

Box Dimensions of my box is 7 5/8” x 3 3/8” x 11 1/4” . Weight is now 14oz but it had been a pound …for $3.99. Shrinkflation!

I’ll never go back to Cheerios.

Crazy how all these years I passed by these thinking they’re just a knock-off brand so therefore not as good. I read an article recently where they reviewed several brands of O’s cereals, including the well known brand. This was the winner!! So, of course I had to see for myself. Holy Wow…every bite had me wanting more. The taste and texture are superior. They stayed crisp in milk.. I didn’t have to inhale them to avoid mushy cereal. Reasonably priced. Buy two…there isn’t enough in one box. I often eat cereal for dinner or bedtime snack. A box wouldn’t last me two days probably. Healthy. You don’t need to pay ridiculous prices for trendy cereals that make you feel like you’re eating the cardboard box. These are delicious!
